What the......?

This was NOT forecast - not that I should be surprised by forecasters' in ability to get it right for here. The BBC had "Sunny" as the weather for today.

I had planned to meet some of the kids in school this morning, in order to get their exam recordings done. Needless to say, this had to be cancelled; I doubt that I would have been able to make it out of Melvaig, far less get to Gairloch. I heard from Pat that she got stuck on the way home, along with some other folks - the snow was drifting at Peterburn. I, on the other hand, stayed put.

I think that I was wise.

Tomorrow the BBC have "Light Snow Showers" for us - I wonder what this actually means?
