Our big adventure started today, the early morning flight to Heathrow, met a birthday blipper for a chat on his way to business meeting.

Everything went ship shape and we arrived on time for our connection. Terminal 5 was ok and we managed to get away just a wee bit late. The games on hand luggage started, every so often people would get up block the corridors and play with there hand luggage, some of the had luggage was bigger that my case in the hold.

Listened to my pod casts on my new Itouch birthday present from the family.

On arrival in Abu Dhabi was hit with the heat and it was pitch dark, the colours as we entered the airport was amazing. Met with a sign with our names on it taken through passport control on the 'Gold' line, this is one of the perks of having a sister working in a posh hotel.

Then we met auntie and headed off to her pad for our weeks holiday.
