Walking bus
Today was such a beautiful autumnal morning, thatI chose to walk the girlies to school.
We have two of my friends daughters too this morning. The journey is just over a mile and we had a variety of vehicles in motion: three scooters, one bike, one smart-trike and two walkers.
As we have made this journey many times, we have set stopping points where the girls have to wait for us all to catch up. This also gives the children the independence to go to the next point at their own speed, whilst ensuring that they don't go out of sight.
The girls are all really good, wait patiently and travel together to help each other. Rubels chose to walk, however this was a decision that she regretted half way there. Maybe next time she'll listen to me ;)
I had a lovely visit from a friend and old work colleague. We used to work together when I worked at Next. It makes me smile to know that I used to spend every day with him at work and I now see more of his family than I do of him :) We had a really good catch up and he's given me some great advice about my grant application. Thanks matey!!
DM had her dance classes straight from school, whilst me, Peach and the little ladies stayed at home and chilled.
I had an evening meeting to discuss our Community Asset listing of a local venue for Twins at Totstime and Totstime. Twins at Totstime are going ahead to apply for funding to keep the building in the community and restore the building to it's former glory!
