Launch

We are on the west side of Washington State this weekend with our good friends who visited us in Zihuatanejo this past March. Being the adventurous bunch we are, we thought a little kayaking would be a good idea after the long drive. Here we are launching the various boats in Henderson Inlet on the beach below Sheri's father's house. We just got these three boats, as well as my wife's, away from shore when the heaven's opened up. The four kayakers paddled quickly to shore less than 50 meters away and we all huddled under shelter waiting for the rain to pass, which it didn't for the rest of the day. It did, however, lessen enough for us to make it back up to the house without getting too much wetter.
