The Beach Boys

Merrick and my S-I-L Benton and I walked down to the ocean this morning. It wasn't cold (67F), but it was really windy. It gave real meaning to the phrase from the song...God bless America...to the ocean...white with foam.

Benton tried REAL hard to keep Merrick dry, but it never works. Sandy and wet. That's what he was.

There was a photo shoot going on at the beach. Children in beachwear. I asked a few questions of the light guy, but the camera guy didn't seem to be very approachable. It was a rough morning for the kids to be out in their suits.

Our wedding tomorrow is at 6 p.m. Supposed to be 78F and sunny.
