Making my mark..
I had my new tattoo done a couple of weeks ago, I absolutely love it.
It wasn't until 24 hours after having the tattoo, I realised that I had forgotten three charms. Fortunately, Hellcats were able to fit me in and add the charms this week.
My latest charms are a rugby ball, car door and honey pot.
So, all of my charms are.....
Rugby ball for a friend who has been a great help to me over the last four years. She's been my walking partner, helped me with my girls and has made me laugh and smile many times.
Gemini star sign for Twins at Totstime. A reminder of the fabulous group of multiple mummies that I've met over the last three years, the amazing friends that I have made because of my twins and the life long friends I will continue to have by my side.
Peas in a pod for my bitchass. Together we are like peas in a pod, she always has my back and I have hers. I love her dearly; in my moments of irrational thought or overwhelming stress, she's my rock and my centre of gravity.
Car door for my dad - "don't slam the ruddy door, it's not a bloody Vauxhall!"
Gooseberry for my bro - when we were kids I played the part of annoying big sister very well and was always telling him that Mum found him under a gooseberry bush - love ya bro!!
Jester Hat for my "brother from another mother" - I've known him since I was a kid, he's lived with me and he is a huge part of our family. He loves to be the big kid, and was a Jester at our wedding; I love him dearly.
Dude for my nephew - that is his name and this is his charm. He is always a part of me.
Little Miss for my niece Missimo - since she was a baby we've always called her Missimo and I asked Jeremy to create a Little Miss for her. Missimo will always be a part of me too!
Eiffel Tower for my very good friend - we've been great friends since we were 17. I've had so many good times and giggles with her; two of which were in Paris, but it's the trumping at the top of the Eiffel Tower that I'll never forget ;)
Heart shaped tree for my Mum. My mum has always insisted that she have roots; a permanent place to call home, a place to grow a family. Our family hasn't just been about those that we are related to, Mum's branches have reached out to others and with open arms my Mum has welcomed them into her heart and her life. Thank you Mum, thank you for being you, I love you.
Honey pot for one of my lifelong friends. We have been friends since we were 4. Our birthdays are two days apart. She has known my many different hairstyles, friends and has helped me tremendously with my girls. When we were 5, I had a sleep over at her house. I woke up in the morning feeling ill and her Mum set me up on the chair with a blanket, a plate of warm honey, whilst we sat and watched Grease 2.
Amor Vincit Omnia - Love Conquers All. The words associated with our wedding. A day that I remember with fond memories.
And I'm the chain that links them all together - with a bit of sparkle and fairy-dust to surround us :)
