Macmillan Coffee Morning...

I've had lots of fun baking this week. Wednesday night was Cake Club at the Post Box Cafe in Chorlton. We worked hard producing as much as we could for the Macmillan Coffee Morning today. Chris asked, if we had time, for us to make something at home for the sale. I invented a cake for it and made a Vanilla Caffe Latte Cake with coffee flavoured sponge, vanilla buttercream and vanilla glacé icing dusted with cinnamon. I was pleased to hear it went quickly.

I had a meeting with Chris and a representative of the Dig The City Garden Festival. With luck, we will be involved in something exciting in 2015. Here are some of the cakes and other sweet treats for sale at the Macmillan Coffee Morning at the Post Box Cafe this morning....
