Watering the Garden

Another day that started cold, and ended up with us shedding layers of clothing as the day progresses! We got fleeced-up to walk round to playgroup at 9:15 but by lunchtime the sun was shining. Late afternoon came and I was busily chain-sawing logs while Ted pottered in the garden. We've cleared this flowerbed in preparation for the building work on our extension - the flowerbed will eventually go - but in the meantime it's become a favourite spot for Ted to play.

The building was due to start on Monday (although it was actually supposed to be 2 weeks earlier than that...) but our builder rang this afternoon to say he's been held up on his current job so it'll be another week before he can come to us. It's so frustrating. We have months of building work ahead of us, I just want it to get going.
