Backlit Spider

I was struggling for a blip today - tried all sorts of things - but nothing seemed to be working. I found some lovely little fungi the other day -I went back today but they had all been trampled on, so no luck there. Sun was too bright and creating harsh shadows for landscapes, I tried a flower but couldn't get it all in focus...

...and then I went into the garden this evening and spotted this web with a spider in the centre, strung between the barbecue and the patio table!

Popped camera on tripod, tried to focus but the web was blowing in the wind - so I just set camera on continuous shooting and pressed and hoped.

Luckily I got one just about in focus.
