Work Complete

This morning Carl put the finishing touches to our re-laid patio (no more 2 inch deep puddles when it rains), and with that the end of the building work for the immediate future.  Mind you this has prompted a major clear up of years of ‘not throwing that away’ so a few days work left clearing up the back yard and finding somewhere to stow the excess building blocks and paving slabs from this venture . . .

On Tuesday last week I blipped the start of the patio work – now here is how the re-laid slabs look with a few replacements added in – the originals are over 25 years old so  a proper match is not possible.
