...conker shot. When Elise was wee she called them honkers, so we pretty much still call them that.

Quite a grey, dull day outside, and in my head, with not much opportunity to Blip. So I popped to the park on the way back from Brownies, collected a few honkers to fend off the 8 legs (no idea if it works). I adore them, so shiny and spiky and just amazing natural treasure, glad I was wearing gloves! Today felt like a proper Autumnal day.
This is our unofficial Friday, as the September weekend starts tomorrow. it is a local holiday, just Glasgow I think. I'm taking the kids to see my Sis in the North East (of England) at the weekend, looking forward to a change of scene.
