Looking up

Spent small amounts of the day pondering whether I'm an optimistic realist or a realistic optimist.

I've been meaning to take a picture of this building for a while and the blue sky backdrop seemed like as good a time as any.

Made the smart move this morning to have an extra 2 hours in bed and go to the later fitness camp session. Also useful as distracted me from worrying about what how much of my work would survive the review meeting due at lunchtime. Which would have been pointless as in the end about 90% did. So perhaps there's a dash of pessimism in there too...

Now for more Banagrams and perhaps a Greek myth before Bake Off and bedtime.

And the exciting news of the day was J being elected House Captain. Kept quiet that he was going to stand and cunningly decided to go first as he reasoned there were only a few things you could say in your speech so anyone who went after the first person would always sound like they were copying. Am trying to be only a little bit alarmed and mainly focus on proud.
