Out of the gloom

It's been remarkably dry in Cumbria for the last few weeks - almost suspiciously so - it goes against the grain to not head out in Goretex...
Today has felt all day like it might be building up to a thunderstorm - the air has been heavy & visibility has been awful - not a good day for Blips - and really quite muggy for walking the pooch. I stuck it out at the desk writing grant proposal's for as long as I could - but in the end the combination of a sad looking Pushka & well that steady ache behind the eyes that comes from staring at the screen for too long resulted in us both just having to head onto the fells for a walk.
Yesterdays blip was obviously a precursor to todays action as several, much more obviously military, helicopters flew through the valley.
