Rain!

We were at the shed place this morning and it started raining.

When I say it started raining, I mean hard heavy rain.

And when I say started raining, I mean it went from zero to hard heavy rain in maybe 5 seconds. I have seen nothing like the speed at which this started, simply amazing.

Unfortunately though, the wife was helping a little old lady take a photograph, who then promptly fell over (my wife, not the old lady), was sprawled out on her back, sprained her ankle, unable to get up - and thats exactly when it started raining. Poor thing nearly drowned.

It's always interesting to read the weather in the UK, apparently they got 1" of rain in 24 hours and roads were flooded and it made the news it was so bad. We got 1.5" in 1 hour! 2 hours later, temperatures were back to low 30Cs though, so all was good.
