This is the most northerly Munro and one I have been looking forward to for a while. Not a difficult hill, there is a well made path from the road to the trig point, and lovely views when you are there.
On the way down we found a waterfall dropping into a deep pool and two of the party went skinny dipping. (Yes, I was one).
The day was highlighted by a trip to Chocolate Mountain where we had hot chocolate which can only be described as amazing, and finally rounded off by a trip to a white sand beach under a mackerel sky.
A brilliant day all round.
This is Adrian and Raymond heading back down the hill. The rive on the left is about 1000 feet higher than the river on the right.
That's the effect of glaciation on volcanic rock for you.
