Rue Droite
There are many alleyways, paths, roads and steps, which join up the different levels of Bonnieux. I’m sure we could take a different way down every day and never go the same way. This is one way – Rue Droite. It was apparently once the main road of the village, before it was safe to be lower down, and there are traces in the walls, doorways and general facades, of shops, workshops and houses that date from the Middle Ages. Perhaps worth going large to see the way things have been changed through the ages.
Of course, once down, one has to get back up again!
