Goshen, indiana

Well, tomorrow is Joel's turn for tests but his take place at the Cancer Center in Goshen. We are here the night before, staying at the Care House so he can prepare near the hospital which is two hours from our house. I went out for sushi since he can't eat anything today and passed the Elkhart county courthouse on my way through town. It's a beautifully kept building with a lovely lawn, memorials and sculpture.

I really like Goshen. It's an older, slightly shabby town, loaded with character. I might like to live here, taking walks through the old neighborhoods but, alas, it's in the snowbelt and would no doubt prove to be too much work in the winter.
