Rain's coming

It was a gorgeous day, sunny with a warm breeze. I went early to the farmer's market and bought apples which I brought home and made into apple pie filling for the freezer. Then I worked outside til it was time for supper. As we sat down to eat, the temperature dropped, the wind picked up and, shortly, it began to rain like crazy. It's all over now, just in time to watch the end of the excellent "Roosevelts". I am a fan of the Ken Burns documentaries but this one will probably always be a favorite. Beautifully done and a good look at one of my favorite eras of history.
