my first snowdrop

it's only a tiny single flower two inches high, but since i thought the entire bag of snowdrops was going to turn out a dud it's good news! mind, 'mixed crocuses' appears to mean 'mixed shades of identical orange crocuses'. i had hoped for some purple ones at least, even if no white ones. hopefully the heavy snow forecast for the start of next week won't snuff them all out!
