Small is Beautiful (2)

Let me introduce you to Eiderduck.

This tiny plane came from the same stable as the Peel P50 car that is shown here

It was a prototype only, and as far as I am aware, it never flew. It was built in the 1960's from advanced materials at that time. The design is very cutting edge because it did away with the tail plane and replacing it with a series of airfoils or louvres.

It is a single seater (and very snug too) and is now permanently displayed at Ronaldsway Airport.
