Friendly chat

We know that we are really in France, not just as visitors but to actually live for a while, when we buy at our first market. We had been told about the market in Voiron and, by the time we were up and out this morning, it was in full swing. We needed to be on our way, so it was a brief visit - enough to have a look round and buy a few fruit and vegetables. A lovely and very busy market. Just like all French markets – lots of fresh produce, lots of friendly chat, lots of sunshine. I tried to capture it all in this picture.

A different day today weatherwise. Storms last night, but this morning the sun was shining and the sky was blue. A fine journey through the mountains to Sisteron and then down to Provence.

And now we are here at Bonnieux, our home for the next two weeks. The owner greets us like old friends, well I suppose after the number of years we have been coming here, that’s what we are.
