Schwerin Castle

Today we docked in Warnemunde. The morning sky was black and there was a severe thunderstorm warning for most of the region.

Warnemunde is the jumping off point for Berlin, a 3 hour coach ride either way, so we have decided instead to take a tour by foot and public transport to Schwerin Castle instead. We were very lucky with the weather, it only rained when we were in the train!

Schwerin castle looks lovely in official photos, surrounded by a lake. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to get that same picture as it's taken from the air.
