Media frenzy

at the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue today as hundreds of people were waiting in line to buy the new iPhone 6, which has the surreal slogan "Bigger than Bigger."

The queue attracted some colourful characters, most of whom already seemed to have at least one phone. At the head of the line the tension was palpable. Successful purchasers gave TV interviews.
