This Old Church

This old church was built in 1927. This old church is the church my wife Peggy grew up in, the church Peggy would bring me to on Sunday evenings in order to get more time together when we were dating. The pastor, John Tebay, performed our marriage ceremony. This old church is where we became Christians and were baptized. This old church is where our kids grew up and learned about Jesus. This old church is where we grew close to some families that have remained life long friends through all our hills and valleys. This old church encouraged us to go to family camp on Catalina Island where we met Rosie and Mr. Fun in 1981. This old church paid me to mow the lawns when times were tough. This old church is where Peggy and I led the high school ministry and later started the young married support class.

This old church was sold last year to the Korean Seventh Day Adventists so that we would find a location with a "better demographic".

I love this old church.
