The Apothecary

Voice still not good but I managed to teach one period and start another period off for the reliever. Kids once again amazinlgy accommodating and considerate.

It was scheduled to have been our annual Year 10 Sports Ed tourny day but, with the threat of rain appearing on all forecasts, the decision was made a couple of days ago to postpone it. At 11.20, when the tourny would have been beginning, there was some blue sky and plenty of sun rays, as well as a few threatening grey clouds. Within an hour the rain came. Relief! Didn't want to be left feeling the 'abandon ship' decision had been a bad decision! It's been grey and wet ever since.

Decided to mix up an all-natural treatment for the throat and voice box. A lemon from the garden, a couple of spoons of Elliott's lovely honey and some grated ginger root all mixed together and boiled for a short while. If it doesn't fix the throat at least it tastes delicious!
