Streetcar

Just returned from Streetcar Named Desire.

Enjoyed most of it but I think seeing it on the screen, even though broadcast live, it looses some of the atmosphere of physically being in the theatre. Embarrassingly I have to confess that I haven't seen the film or read the play so didn't know what to expect. Daughter however had read and watched before so was more critical than I.

We all had a treat of choice to eat at the performance. That was a first. Never taken sweeties to the theatre before!
