easy coffee

In Faucon for most of the day. Called in at the SPA in Piégon on the way home to pick up our prize from the tombola. We were expecting one thing....maybe a dog bowl or a bottle of wine. Instead we got a pair of kids' sunglasses, a book, a certificate for a haircut, a pair of flip flops, 3 bottles of wine in a gift box, 2 garden decorations, salt and pepper shakers, a glass bottle filled with lavender, and a €25 certificate towards a meal at a really nice organic restaurant in Vaison! Result!!! I also picked up a form to send off to apply to be a helper so I can hopefully walk some pooches, or feed them, clean them....whatever they need. Can't wait :)

France finally has Netflix so we signed up for a free month's trial. We watched some Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch. Class.

Lots of storms tonight after an unsettled day. We Skyped with Pierre's dad who was at the doc today. He has to go for exploratory surgery as the doc thinks he might have kidney stones. We're hoping he gets everything sorted ASAP.
