Bathers Pavilion - North Beach Wollongong

Staying with a friend who lives in The Gong.
She's recuperating after an operation, so we're behaving ourselves, having good natters and a few gentle walks.

We strolled around the Botanic Gardens this morning.
Stunning!  Have only seen about a third, so will return.

Lazed around and read this afternoon and realised too late that I should check out the sea.
The sun had just gone down when I came across these beautiful sheds, which opened in 1938.
Apparently there was a battle years ago to maintain it for its original purpose.
Much better than a fancy restaurant.
