The Children

I checked in with the stepdaughters and got great reports on the three high schoolers, two new freshmen - all is going so well - the g.daughter had her first cross country race yesterday, the g.son has fallen in love already it seems, and the older one is getting ready to make a film - - - -

and then i looked at this little girl; and then I thought of the world's children; and then I felt waves of hatred for what happens to too many of them; and then I read of great stories here of other children - wow, all in the course of one little wee day.
