A girls gotta do...

Quite a bit today as it turns out.

My power went out on Friday and Saturday, causing an upset with my back security light. This morning I tried to fix it.

It took a while and lots of consulting of Professor Google but tonight I find it works as it should again. Dad you should be proud of me :-)

Oh, I fitted in a bit of washing and flower arranging too.

This afternoon we headed out to the Waimakariri River mouth for a fish. I hooked a large Kahawhai but it busted my hook. I also hooked and played a sea run trout. However the hook can't have been well set as it got off.

Never mind, I did better than any of the blokes around me, particularly the one feeling poorly in the truck ;-)

The weekend ends and my garage clean up is finally done, the last painting is on the wall and I sorted out the loft, including unpacking the last 2 boxes of stuff.

There are still one set of shelves to go back up in the loft. But I will need the bloke and not just Professor Google for that job ;-)

Other than that, my new balance, flexibility and strength training programme, designed to whip me into shape for major mountain activities over summer, has officially broken me. It's got to be good for me.
