New Faces
Fairly quiet day today after the exertions of gardening over the last few days.
It was a chilly start to our dog walk - fleece needed. Walked along a footpath at the side of a field - only to find that the farmer has ploughed big chunks of it up after cropping the rapeseed. The path has been virtually impassable all summer because of the overgrown thistle and nettles - and now it is clear it is badly damaged by the plough!
Later on the walk we passed a field with two new faces - the darker horse was very friendly and came across for a fuss - liked having its head rubbed. I don't know what has happened to the last two inhabitants - a donkey and another horse - I can only hope they have moved elsewhere!
Sun came out for last half of walk and it was very warm - needed to remove fleece!
