Day 31

Flew into Bangkok today from Chiang Mai for the final stretch run of our trip.

After checking into our hotel, we were pleased with out decision to spend a bit more than we have been with the guesthouses and hostels in backpacker alleys across South East Asia that we've frequented.

Later on in the day we made it to Lumpini Park, where we were quite impressed with the amount of runners and exercise groups around the park. To get our blood pumping a bit, we decided to rent a paddle boat and paddled around the lake, which brings us to our blip tonight. It was a fun 30 minutes paddling around in a duck boat.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a most delightful get together with a great friend of The Goose's aunt. He works in the public health field, and was so gracious to us.
