Day 30
Both Valentines Day and the Chinese and Vietnamese New Year were on the same day this year.
The Goose and I decided to take a Thai cooking class at The Thai Farm Cooking School.
Located on an organic farm a bit outside of Chiang Mai, the class lasted the entire day.
Each participant had an array of dishes to choose to learn how to cook.
Today's blip is one of my choices, Cashew Nut Chicken......Otherwise known as Get In My Mouth Right Now Because You Are So Goood, food.
I also learned how to cook a Red Curry, Coconut Milk Soup, Pad Thai Noodles, and Mango Sticky Rice w/Coconut cream.
The Goose, a vegetarian cooked a yellow curry, a vegetable soup, papaya salad, pad thai, and the sticky rice.
Everything turned out unbelievably good. It was so good (not to brag or anything), I'm afraid we may never go back to a Thai restaurant upon our July return to the States. Well, at least we'll be confident that if we're not feeling lazy we'll know we can cook our favorite dishes at home... or maybe yours!
