Had a nice trip to the hairdresser today - my hair is now the shortest it's ever been. Ever.

For almost all of my life I've had really super-long hair. At it's longest it measured 27" (yes indeed, we were sad enough to measure it), which is the same length as my inside leg! A few months ago when my pre-30th birthday life crisis began, I started wondering what shorter hair would be like, and have slowly been getting it cut shorter and shorter each visit to the hair salon. Now the back of my neck is exposed for the first time and it's all very odd!
