Walking High

Today we started late from Liapedes, hoping the thunder and rain would stop before we'd have to leave. However, we had the constraint of having to be at Agios Geogios in time for a taxi to take us the rest of the way to our hotel, so in the end we left in rain. However by the time we got to the sea, it began to clear up and we had a wonderful walk, the best yet. Though we had a few steep climbs it was not for long and the views along the coast were stunning. The blip is when we came down the escarpment to reach a cut in the rock, with the sea sparkling far below. We reached the village in time for a large Mythos beer before Vangelis (!) came to pick us up. Out hotel is delightful. Tomorrow we walk to the beach - not too far!
