Mad as a box of frogs

We visited a farm where they were doing many things (it was quite an empire in fact) including raising frogs for the restaurant trade. It seemed strange at first to see them hopping all around numerous pens, but it was all totally humane.

You can sell about 8 young frogs for about 1 dollar, which is a decent income, and if this catches on, will reduce wild harvesting of frogs and the impact of that on freshwater ecosystems.

The biggest challenge is constantly grading the different sized frogs as one has to be only marginally larger than its neighbour to try and devour it!
