A dry spell during today's Rain

It has been raining all day, with a slight let up about 4 p.m. (when I took this pic), and now the rain has settled in again for the evening. I splashed out and bought a 'slow cooker' today, luckily I didn't try it out, as the power has been off!! This afternoon I went to the croquet club and helped to clean the windows, (using my Window Vac). And yes, I did get wet, but we all had a nice cuppa and a chat before heading for home. Opening day tomorrow, (with beautiful spring rain forecast)! That's The Buchanan Peaks peeping through the clouds.
