Men's Bake Off

This morning I spent a delightful morning watching these men have a bake off in a local farm barn. Left to right:

Michael - Griddle Scones - Electric fry pan
Neil - Whitebait Fritters - Small portable BBQ
Andrew - Toast fruit bread - Electric fry pan
Graham - Pikelets - BBQ
Alon - Caramel Slice - Portable stove top
Murray - Pikelets - Electric fry pan
John - Crepes - Electric fry pan
Russell - Sweet and Savoury bread - Slow cooker
Bill - Cheese scones - Small portable oven
It was Russell's job to keep the power on!!
We got to sample all these dishes, yummy. Sue a Master Chef contestant (a few years ago), gave us a cooking demonstration, and we were able to bring home a small plate for our lunch.

This afternoon I went to croquet, 2 up and 1 down. I am trying out the slow cooker for our meal tonight, so far it smells just wonderful. I'll let you know how it turns out tomorrow. Have a lovely evening/morning.
