Spike Nut Bling

I spent a few relaxing hours working on my Yamaha SR250 “Rat Bike”.

Along with repairing and replacing vital parts, this Yamaha’s rebuilding process mostly involved summarily excising all of the superfluous chrome and plastic bits.

I’ve been thinking I may have been a little too energetic in the paring down effort.

Today I decided to add a chrome spike nut on the front brake actuating lever as my one bit of superfluous bling on this motorcycle.

Ahhhh yes, that’s just enough.
