My Girl

I took her back to Glasgow tonight. I miss her already.

We didn't walk and talk as much as I might have liked this summer, we didn't dance wildly round the table like we used to, and nor did we didn't bake and eat cake until we felt quite sick.

We did share the most glorious moments over a beer in Amsterdam, we did pass knowing smiles over the head's of our boys, and we did shop for clothes with a wild disregard for anything or anyone.

She is growing up, she is maturing into the most wonderful young woman, and I am letting go, but we both know that I can run back fast just incase she should need me to catch her anytime.

I am bursting with pride over my gorgeous, beautiful, talented girl.
