Tuneful Ted!

Last term The Music Train ran a competition to win a Tuneful Ted. Tuneful Ted is the bear that sits on the train as it delivers the weeks musical instruments to the children in the class. There are not many of them in the world, one for each teacher, until this summer.

Basically any Music Train children who went to Rhythms of the World wearing their Music Train T-shirt were entered into a draw for the spare Tuneful Ted. William had out grown his t-shirt and wanted me to buy one for him, but I refused as he had plenty of t-shirts and we were coming to the end of our time at Music Train. So he decided to buy his own t-shirt with his own money! A good investment of his £4 as his was the name pulled out of the hat.

So the photo is William being presented with his very own Tuneful Ted by his teacher Ros. He looks ready to explode. He wouldn't be parted from Tuneful Ted all day, but William has insisted on all of us having Tuneful Ted for bedtime cuddles this week. He is very generous.

Carys went back to ballet tonight. Grade 3 class, I haven't seen her so happy for ages.
