Still not a Blue Jay!

Okay, so I tried again today for a Blue Jay. Still nothing!

That's two days in a row I got skunked by them!

Today I set out some goodies in our bird bath (for water Wednesday!)in the hopes for a Blue Jay. As you can see the only thing that came around were the Cardinals. This is a female getting ready to grab a peanut. Later on after I had given up and brought my camera in a squirrel came around and cleaned up the rest.

Our cardinals are going through their late summer molt and are looking a bit shabby. I feel so bad for them as they are usually quite beautiful.
