Santa Eularia Square at Night

... is a beautiful place to be. The Municipal building, which houses various offices and dignitaries overlooks the Ramblas which extends right down to the promenade along the beach at the bottom end.

This very striking water feature shoots jets at different angles and heights, all beautifully lit by changing coloured lights. And on a rock in the middle, sits a lonely little gremlin type of chap, called a Familliar. This wee guy and the coloured water features are a theme all the way down the Ramblas.

We arrived on Wednesday 3rd in the afternoon, did a quick unpack, and headed out to the Hippy Market at Es Canar. Our hotel was very basic but clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Temperature was in the 30's.
