Heavenly pastures

This morning was the turn of the House Martins to line up on our telegraph wires, the swallows having departed a few days previously. It is sad to see all these birds leave for Africa, how many will reach their destination and how many will return to Somerset.

The book swap club in the church this morning, the donkeys are still grazing in the churchyard.
