Off to the Animal Shelter

After her escapade yesterday, thought Luna should be taught a lesson.

Set off to the Memmingen Animal Rescue center where Michael works, to check out if they had a kennel free. Luna was not amused! I was actually surprised how frightened she was near the buildings. I would have thought that with all the dog barking going on (it was the start of visitor time) that she would be highly interested. I could only just persuade her to get this close and stay put for a few seconds to get the Blip - she shot back to the car.

In fact, I had to go to Memmingen to buy something for the bees and took the opportunity to deliver a load of excess vegetables from the garden.

While waiting for opening time, went for a walk with the dogs but a storm brewed up and thunder claps drove us back to the car - Flash cannot stand thunder or loud noises.

Having then handed over the vegetables, headed off to the pet shop for cat food, Aldi for dry dog food and finally a DIY market for the bees, headed home as it was unbearably humid. The storm luckily stayed just south of Memmingen but the poor dogs despite accompanying me in the pet shop and DIY, were suffering.

Apparently the last day of sunshine until Sunday .. shame .. was getting used to it.
