Roofing

The dry weather has been a bonus for the Polish builders working on the two houses opposite which replace the old cinema.

Yesterday roof lights were installed and today the pantile roof is topping off the houses. The young man supplying the tiles was busy using a hand wound elevator to keep the roofers supplied.

We like the stone frontage and the way they are using aged tiles to reflect the character of the street. It will be a huge improvement and it will certainly help the value of our house. Not that we plan to go anywhere soon.

The only downside is we are still plagued with the pigeons that used to live in the old cinema!
