Up Up and Away

I just managed to catch this young starling as it took flight when I walked outside with the camera to get a quick blip from the garden. He is still in mid moult and has baby feathers on his head and beautiful glistening adult feathers on his body :-)
Another lovely day outside but I haven't been able to take advantage of it as I have had several outstanding jobs to get done inside but I'm going outside for half an hour now as I'm due a tea break :-))
