The Venetian

After I went gooey over Paris yesterday today was all about the Venetian. Disappointingly the weather forecasters got it spot on and we had flash storms all afternoon meaning the helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon couldn't take place. Really frustrating but with the storms it was the right decision and um rather a lot of money was saved... A shame not to get there though. So it was the Malls and the top hotels for a visit all evening. The Venetian hotel tower contains 36 stories and rises 475 feet and obviously uses Venice, Italy as its design inspiration and features architectural replicas of various Venetian landmarks, including the Palazzo Ducale, Piazza San Marco, Piazzetta di San Marco, the Lion of Venice Column & the Column of Saint Theodore, St Mark's Campanile, and the Rialto Bridge. This blip was taken on the 3rd floor of the hotel...

Incredible place but a shame about the storms
