Feeding the fish

Went to see a friend today who has 3 big Coy carp. He asked if I would like to feed them and I said yes assuming I would just throw some food in the pond. But these things actually eat from your hand. Very strange feeling as they latched on and sucked the food from my hand, with a big slurping noise.
