This island atracts a lot of arty types but this guy is the genuine article, even retired he carries on making a living doing what he loves and always has. Apart from a brief stint in the army he's been illustrating and painting for a living since he graduated. I spotted him sketching on this pile of rocks in front of our appartment (that's not it in the background), so I popped out to ask for a portrait.
